Summary	eCommerce is driving the demand for online content. As a result, publishing information to sell products and support customers has moved beyond the function of a corporate web group to a broad collaboration of communicators, producers and technologists. The presentation focused on: the demands for information in eCommerce the requirements to instill greater structure in the content and discipline in the business processes how the costs can be contained despite the rise in volume the potential for re-using the content across networks and information devices

Andy Harrison	Andy Harrison has 13 years of experience in the online information business. He worked for Reuters for most of this time in various technical, marketing, project and product management roles in the UK and US. This culminated in managing www.reuters.com as Corporate Web Manager, Reuters Ltd. where he learnt a great deal about the pain and pleasure of large web sites. He started Contentment Ltd. consultancy  specialising in content management in April 1999.
