As the traditional legacy brands struggle to transform, new entrants and new competition flood the marketplace. How do you compete on anything except price on the Internet? Your only power is one of brand and key to this is effective brand marketing. This session  explored the following issues:

  • How to successfully create a new on-line brand ?

  • How to minimise risk to traditional channels ?

  • How to justify the investment ?

  • How do you market the new brand ?

  • Integration with existing channels (Call Centre, distributors or Digital TV ?)

  • Use of agenting to add value to your brand ?

Pauline Bickerton Pauline Bickerton is considered to be one of the leading world experts in Internet marketing and presents at major international conferences on the subject.

Pauline has co-authored two of the most respected Internet marketing textbooks on the subject. Cybermarketing (1998) and Cyberstrategy (1999) are both published within the Chartered Institute of Marketing Series by Butterworth Heinemann.
Her third book "Cyberknowledge" is due out shortly.

Pauline's background is a hybrid of Marketing and IT. Her masters degree is in Business Management Systems but her first degree and twelve years experience is in marketing. She left her position as Marketing Director for Time Manager International to set up MarketingNet in 1994.
