Net Village Limited, Top-pile`s "creator", has been in business since 1996 providing web development and high-level online marketing services to corporate
clients. However, it increasingly became clear to Net Village that the one consistency in search engines is that the more you submit your site to them the better you do. This service was initially provided manually while the programmers were set the task of automating this process.
In 1998 partial automation of the process was achieved and a period of extensive testing began, which lasted a full 18 months.
Late 1999 the first commercial customer was signed up to top-pile.com via the web, whilst in the meantime many existing customers of net Village were moved over to the automated system and saw their bills plummet!
May 2000 - a successful fund raising was achieved for a new company, top-pile.com Limited. From this point onwards top-pile has remained independent of
Net Village. Thirty months later, the company is well-established with over 10,000 URLs being submitted through its system through a network of over 2,000 direct clients, 500 resellers and over 30 Partners. The company has recently entered into negotiations with parties for the exclusive distribution of the service in Turkey and Jordan. In early 2001 the company established a US presence where it is making excellent inroads.
The product has of course changed immeasurably since those early days, and a key aspect of our longer term strategy is to make sure that top-pile`s range of services are best of breed at reasonable prices.
