Summary Those who of us who have shopped at Waitrose and Tesco will have noticed the fundamental difference is the way these two supermarkets have implemented home shopping. Tesco picks the goods in the stores whereas Ocado uses separate warehouses.

The speaker Andy McWilliams is Head of Customer(Operations)Service for Ocado.com the revolutionary on-line grocery business in partnership with Waitrose. Andy was part of the initial launch team for Ocado and is responsible for the home delivery network and customer contact centre for Ocado.

Previously Andy has held senior operational roles in Mail Order and Field Distribution and was responsible for launching Home Shopping Direct a national courier network for N Brown the 4th largest UK mail order business.

Andy has spent some time in Management Consultancy and holds a Henley Management College MBA.
