Tom Bowman is International
Advertising Sales Director for the MSN ICAN region, covering Central
Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin America The
territory includes many of MSN’s most exciting new markets with a
distinctive and varied set of business models. It is set for an
exciting and enticing period of growth.
Tom has worked in media since the early 1980s, variously for media
owners and advertising agencies.
He was one of the early movers in new media; to begin with the UK
Commercial Director of ZDNet and in 1995 co-founded the UK branch of
the Internet Advertising Bureau. Tom then led the successful launch
of Yahoo UK & Ireland as Sales Director. He joined MSN in 1997
as the first UK Head of Sales and went on to establish and build the
European Sales operation into a multi million dollar business. More
recently he was MSN’s International Revenue Strategist helping to
develop the business models and toolsets needed for profitable
expansion in this fast moving sector.
