Summary	Our speaker will present insights from his extensive experience of applying technology and new business models which ranges from teletext, Sky and new business models where THUS is working in collaboration with current clients. This promises to be a fascinating evening and with the additional opportunity to network with your peers.

Speaker details	Phil Male joined Demon Internet Limited in October 1997 as Technical Director with responsibility for all operational and development activity and in 1999, following the rebranding and flotation of THUS plc, became Executive Director, Operations.  In 2002 he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer with overall operational responsibility for network, service and sales & marketing. Mr Male has previous experience as Technical Director of Computer Newspaper Services and PA Data Design, part of the Press Association Group, and has also held the positions of Head of Research and Development and, prior to joining Demon, Director of Strategic Research with the Press Association Group.  With advanced knowledge of data networking technologies, programming languages and operating systems, Mr Male has significant technical experience and expertise. He has been involved in the development of Internet services in the UK since 1990 having run the development teams behind many of the UK's leading web sites, concluding significant technology contracts and strategic relationships, and advising on Internet strategy to many media organisations.
